Alvin in his Teenage Years

Hey there, I just want you to know that I'm still alive and drawing. So lately I've fallen back in love with the Chipmunks in a big way. Not only because they are a part of my childhood, but because in a time in my life when things aren't going so well I find myself clinging to things that make me feel better. I watched the live action Alvin and the Chipmunks shortly after my dad told me he had cancer and it made me happy. Besides my lovely Jailbird very little had been able to make me smile no less laugh.

So Jailbird and I have been surrounding ourselves with all things Chipmunks. From the old cartoons, to the cds, to stuffed animals. Well as silly as it sounds I found some inspiration to write and draw again. What else but Chipmunk stuff hehe and that's how the Teenage version of the Chipmunks and Chippettes were born.
